This is a really great photo of my younger daughter Lyn, recently she has left to begin her second year of college. I love that she is an amazing young woman.

She is the one on the right of this photo. She is in my thoughts a lot. She will turn 20 this year and that means that she will be the same age that I was when I started dating the man that I would eventually marry.

I think about that day for her when she meets the man that will be a part of our next generation. I pray that he might love God and that he might love her as Christ loves the church. I know that Lyn can take care of herself, because she has had to do this early in life. I mean by the time that she was 16 she could have made a living on her own. She was a bright child and how soon the time that we were raising her past.

She was in all stars, and swim champ and sophomore someone that she loves must be so special I am praying for him.

Seriously, he won't know. She is a princess of Hawaii. He will need to know that. The Hawaiian attitude toward ohana or family is very dear. I see that in the way that my husband loves her. I am so happy for her this way. When she graduates from College we will go to Italy. That's something that I really want to do. We will go to this place.

The Abbey of Montecassino - Home Page

It is the place where the uncle Roy Asaka Ikawa fought for the USA and helped to win WWII. This little princess is important and her mom and dad love her. In her is the napua o hawaii nei.
